ALL ABOUT
MYSELF
I'm going to tell you something you've probably never heard before: I fell in love with Microsoft PowerPoint when I was seven-years-old. I didn't spend my days dreaming of my wedding dress or chasing the neighborhood boys around. I remember pretending to grade papers, taking fake notes from my dad's history books, and playing Sims for far too long during the day. I remember I never wanted to stop learning. That's why I have dedicated my life to being an active learner.
During my last year of undergrad at Georgia State University, I was introduced to the wonderful (and edit after edit after edit) world of web design. And boy, I was hooked. It was the quintessential "AH-HA" moment. I knew I wanted to do this for my career.
But, life and the beautiful ride it is, presented me with a slight detour. I had already committed to receiving my Masters degree at Florida State University for Marketing Communications. However, after a month, I knew this was not the street for me. I packed my bags and waved goodbye to Tallahassee and hello to Atlanta (again). I was then introduced to the UX Design program at General Assembly and boom! a few user flows, interviews, and countless sketches later I am here.
